About the author
Idan Cohen danced at the Kibbutz Dance Company between the years 2000-2005 as a leading dancer in the works of Rami Be’er and in the works of choreographers such as Lara Barsacq, Inbal Pinto and more.
Obtained a BA and MA degree in Choreography, from the Academy of Music and Dance, Jerusalem.
Cohen received the Ministry of Culture Award for promising choreographer in 2008, 2010 and 2012, winner of the 2012 Rosenblum Award, the Ehud Manor Creative Encouragement Award for 2007, and numerous international awards and grants.
In recent years Cohen has stand out as an opera director, and in 2017 he founded ‘Ne. Sans’ in Vancouver – Canada, which focuses on combining classical music and contemporary dance.

The work won 1st place in the Margarita Arnaudova Competition in Bulgaria, and another prize for musical interpretation.
