About the author
Ido Feder is a choreographer and an artist interested in extended choreography, gang formation and dance and performance ceremonies. He has presented his works on all major stages in Israel, as well as internationally. Recently, he staged the show “At Hand!” For 9 performers at the Intimadance Festival in Tmuna and at the 2019 Diver Festival.
He is the artistic director of Diver Festival, which is slowly carving out a new scene and context for the dance field, which connects him to the world of art and wide-ranging work in Tel Aviv-Jaffa.
Ido founded Tights: Dance and Thought, along with Shir Chacham, which is a platform that promotes community thinking and intellectual discourse on dance, and offers residencies, research groups and more. He founded La Collectiz! – a follow-up program for thinking dancers, and manages it together with Lilach Livne and in collaboration with Ariel Cohen, Bosmat Nossan and Shira Eviatar.
Holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in philosophy, and teaches choreography and theory in various places.
