About the author
Jerusalem based choreographer, curator and artistic director. Member of the Choreographers’ Association. Holds an M.Mus degree in dance with a specialization in choreography from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, B.Dance from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance and a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy.
Exhibits her works at festivals, museums and galleries locally and internationally, among them: International Dance Week at Shalem Dance Center, Intimadance festival, Between Heaven and Earth festival, 80 in the square at Suzanne Dellal Center, Mekudeshet (Sacred) at the Jerusalem Culture Season, From Jaffa to Agrippas Festival, March Rabbit Festival at Kelim Center, Dance Arena at Ha’zira Theater Jerusalem, The Dan David Awards Ceremony, The Moscow Museum, the Israel Museum, Bible Lands Museum, Haifa Museum of Art, Tel Aviv Museum of Art, Tower of David Museum, Bloomfield Science Museum in Jerusalem, Heichal Shlomo Jewish Heritage Center and more.
The starting point of her work is inspired by collaborations with artists from various media fields such as plastic arts, visual arts and video. Her main collaboration in recent years is with video creator Yaara Nirel.
In 2017-18, she founded and artistically directed the “Ma’Amakim” program – accompanying creative processes with the support of the American Center in Jerusalem. In 2019, she curated, artistically directed and accompanied the original Israeli works that premiered at the International Dance Center of the Shalem Dance Center. At the same year, she also curated the pre-premiere dance performances at the Jerusalem Biennale in collaboration with the Shalem Dance Center and the Biennale.
Supported by the Cultural Administration, the National Lottery Art Council, the Rabinovich Foundation and the Jerusalem Municipality.
