Born in 1983, an independent choreographer, dancer and dance studio manager. 

Graduated from Jerusalem Academy High School of Music and Dance. Graduated with a B.Dance and teaching diploma from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. Graduated with an M.MUS and composition degree from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. 

Manages a dance studio in Jerusalem, a teacher at the Academy of Music and Dance, teaches and conducts workshops throughout the country. 

Member of the Choreographers’ Association since 2017. 

Winner of the 2005 Gertrude Kraus Choreography Competition. Supported by the Ministry of Culture and Sports for her activities as a creator since 2016.

2014 “RUN!” performed around the country at evenings featuring various artists in Warehouse 2, Suzanne Dellal Tel Aviv, Gerard Behar Theater in Jerusalem, Jerusalem Arts Festival, the 2015 Tel Aviv Dance Festival and Women’s Creative Festival at Suzanne Dellal.

2014 ” Game Changer”, premiered at Yerushalmi Hall in Suzanne Dellal.

2016 “Bound” premiered as an homage to the Kolben Dance Company. Followed by performances at Suzanne Dellal and independent performances. 

2017 “POV” premiered at curtain Up, Artistic director Itzik Galili and Maté Moray.   

2018 “Aurora” premiered at Shalem Dance House.

Owns the Maya Michlal Dance Studio.

The studio opened at 2008 and operates in four branches at the Yehuda mountains area. Suitable for children and adult, and employs a professional and diverse teaching staff.

The studio classes specialize in: modern, hip hop, ballet and improvisation. Allows communication and research space while focusing on team and group work. 

The studio hosts various disciplinary artists for artist’s workshops and collaborations, and constitutes a community-artistic center in each branch.
