Choreographer, dancer. Independent choreographer in the fields of stage and performance since 2003.
Her work combines different mediums: dance, theatre, performance and installation, combining movement and vocal work. Her work deals with the relationship between ‘body-movement-and time’, an investigation of performer-audience relations and the search of various physical challenges and redefining stage virtuosity. Her work is signified by intimate bodily research with social-political context whilst addressing the personal history of the dancers she collaborates with.
She performed original works on numerous stages throughout Europe, North America and Israel. Her works were showcased in selected festivals and centers in the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Italy, Russia and Canada.
In addition to stage work, she creates for alternative spaces, galleries, homes and open spaces in which she unites her different perspectives as a choreographer and an architect with visual art and design background. Among others, she created and performed in collaboration with various artist, for the “intervention” show series, performed in urban space for the 2005 Rotterdam Architecture biannual (with choreograph Thomas Kortvelyessy), a series of public sphere shows in the city of Enschede, the Netherlands (2008), performed at the 7th floor events, opening of an Art Graffiti show at Tel Aviv Central Station and curated dance and performance nights at ‘Gvirol’ Gallery in Tel Aviv.
