About the author
Independent choreographer, sound artist, dancer and teacher, born in 1990. Researches the art of the performance living through the tension existing between presentation and sensation and between the heard and seen. Creating extreme physical-vocal practices, in which she examines how esthetics and art has to offer the humiliated body, the human contour that changes between pleasure and suffering, coercion of independence, the singular and tribe. Composing with chorographical-musical vision, through plastic, visual and sonar means, the tension in the performer’s body, as matter, mass and sound.
Graduated with distinction a BA in Choreography and a Masters’ degree from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. Graduated the two years Choreography – Body for Choreography Work Program from Kelim, Bat-Yam. Winner of the 2018 ImPulsTanz Festival Vienna, Austria DanceWEB scholarship, and received Art excellency awards from Holon Municipality in 2014 and 2018. Her latest work, 7INCH OF SLAM-THE FULL BODY SOUNDSCAPE, premiered through a first co-production between the 2019 Diver Festival in Tel Aviv and the 2019 From Jaffa to Agrippa festival in Jerusalem. She was chosen to showcase her work at 2019 “International Exposure” Festival at Suzanne Dellal Center. Her work was also performed at various festivals and platforms: 2019 Machol Shalem Dance festival, 2018 Intimadance Festival, APH center in Vilnius, Lithuania, Tights: Dance & Thought, 1ST ANNUAL CONFERENCE convention, 2018 International Exposure Jerusalem, 2018 Showcase events, 2017 Between Heaven and Earth Festival, 2017 and 2019 Jerusalem Biennale, the Sukkot Dance Festival at Adama and more.
Annabelle is a member of the Choreographers’ Association since 2019 and a member of YAEL– a home for independent artists in the field of dance since 2016. She is supported by the Lottery Art and Culture fund and the House of Bands studio at the School of Movement and Dance, Ness Ziona Cultural Center. Currently working on an Ethnical project bringing together Georgian dance performance and live music, created for the 2019 international dance week at Machol Shalem Dance Festival. She also works on an ethnical-female pop-art and installation exhibit. The night is due to premier in 2020.

2019-2020 – “Dipped in Gold”, 2019 international dance week at Bechorot, Machol Shalem Dance festival. A piece destined to evolve into a whole night event, combining ethnical installations and stage performance with live music.
2019 – “7 Inch of Slam– The Full Body Soundscape”, co-production between the Diver Festival in Tel Aviv and the From Jaffa to Agrippa festival in Jerusalem.
2018 – “Flesh Work” – a soundtrack for five hitting bodies at Intimadance Festival.

2015 – “The Crow and the Whale”, 2015 the Sukkot Dance Festival at Adama, chorographical co-production through Artist residency with Gadi Avidan.

2014 – “Between Three Pieces”, premiered at Alyia Rishona, curated selected work, produced by the Choreographers’ Association.
