Adva Yermiyahu
About the author
Flamenco artist, dancer, teacher and choreographer. Graduated from of The School of Visual Theatre and obtained a B.E.D from David Yellin College. Adva is the winner of the 2011 Israeli Flamenco Competition hosted by the “Adi Agmon Foundation”, the 2013 Jerusalem Foundation award and the 2019 Ministry of Culture and Sport award for up and coming artist in the dance field.
Since 2016, she is the artistic director and producer of the National Flamenco Competition by the “Adi Agmon Foundation” at Suzanne Dellal. She was also the artistic director of the Ashdod Fusion Flamenco 2018 event.
Since 2008, Adva divides her time between Israel and Spain, where she trained with renowned dancers and dance teachers. Currently she is an independent artist that combines traditional and contemporary Flamenco, performance dance and Visual theatre.
Yermiyahu teaches and performs in Spain, Switzerland, Costa Rica, China, USA and Israel among other countries. She collaborates with leading artists in various fields, locally and globally such as: Miriam Peretz, Gal Maestro, Mor Karbasi, Manuel Cazas, Abel Harana, Jesus Corbacho, Javi Rabadan, Alicia Acuña, el ‘Fyty’, Ricardo Moreno, Diego Guerrero and Jesus Carmona.
